This is the foundation.
Before you try to stop the behaviorâŠ
before you try to âdo betterââŠ
You need to understand whatâs really happening.
Because if you fight the wrong battleâŠ
you will stay stuck in the same cycle.
In this lesson, youâll discover:
Most people believe they have a discipline problem.
But the Bible reveals something deeper.
đ Ephesians 6:12 shows us that we are not fighting flesh and blood, but spiritual forces.
That means this struggle is not just physicalâitâs spiritual.
When this isnât understood, people try to fix spiritual problems with natural effort⊠and stay stuck.
The enemy works through accusation, guilt, and shame (Revelation 12:10), often gaining access through sin and keeping cycles active.
Thatâs why many people experience the same pattern:
Temptation â Action â Shame â Promise â Repeat
But the truth isâŠ
Jesus already paid for your freedom.
đ John 8:36 â âWhom the Son sets free is free indeed.â
Through Him:
This is not about trying harder.
This is about surrendering and stepping into what Jesus already finished.
You are not just breaking a habitâŠ
You are stepping into freedom by coming under the authority of Jesus Christ.
Be honest with yourself:
Today:
This is not about fixing it yetâŠ
This is about starting to expose it.
âFather,
Open my eyes to see what I havenât been seeing.
Help me understand the real battle Iâm facing.
Give me the humility to surrender
and the courage to face the truth.
I receive the freedom that comes through Jesus Christ.
In Jesusâ name, Amen.â
In the next lesson:
đ You will Expose the Root
Youâll uncover:
Because once the root is exposedâŠ
real freedom begins.
